What's new on the network as of April 30, 2026
Summer Specials: To help you get to your leisure destinations and encourage the use of public transportation, the TPG is offering new deals for the warmer months.
Evening special, Thursday through Sunday
In the summer, the weekend starts on Thursday night! The night service will introduce a new summer schedule on Thursday and Friday nights. It will run from the night of Thursday, April 30, through the night of Thursday, September 24, 2026, allowing you to get home with peace of mind, with the last departures from downtown around 3:30 a.m.
Salève: Increased frequency of line 8
To get to the Salève cable car, the increased service on Line 8 will continue, as it did last year, during the day between downtown and Veyrier, Douane every Sunday from May 3 to September 27, 2026.
Vamos a la playa with the Beach Line - Season 2
Line 29 returns for its second season in 2026. It will operate from Friday, May 1, to Sunday, September 27, 2026, and will increase its service during the summer vacation period, running seven days a week. In addition, its schedules will be improved.
On the right bank, the route has been extended to the new terminus in Versoix, La Scie, providing easy access to Bécassine Beach.
Its route changes when it crosses the city centre:
- Heading toward Collonge-Bellerive, after crossing the Mont-Blanc Bridge, the line loops around and now passes through Molard and Bel-Air before returning to Rive and continuing along the left bank.
- Heading toward Versoix, after Rive, the line 29 stops at the Métropole station.
Regular schedule (excluding holidays)
Fridays: first departures from Rive start at 8 p.m. instead of 9 p.m.; service runs until 1 a.m. instead of midnight.
Saturdays and Sundays (including holidays): more evening runs until 1 a.m.
Summer Break Schedule
Monday–Friday: Starting now, the beach line will run all week during school breaks, from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m., with buses every 15 minutes during the day and every 20 minutes in the evening.
