If you are involved in an accident with a TPG vehicle or witness a traffic accident involving TPG vehicles—whether a TPG vehicle is involved in an accident with a motor vehicle, a motorcycle, a pedestrian, or any other situation occurring on the road—the required forms must be completed together with the TPG driver.
Within 24 hours of the collision, you must contact customer service, which is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), so that the necessary steps can be taken as soon as possible.
To resolve the accident as quickly as possible, the motor vehicle or motorcycle must not be repaired until liability has been determined.
Please complete the attached form in the following cases (this list is not exhaustive): a fender bender involving your personal vehicle or your company vehicle; a collision involving your bicycle; an accident that occurred while you were a pedestrian; etc.
In order to process your request as quickly as possible, please provide us with the following information:
- the date and time of the accident
- the place
- the line number
- Management
- the TPG vehicle number (or, if unavailable, the vehicle type)
- any information provided by the driver
- the contact information of any witnesses
Since our drivers are required to operate large, long vehicles, and because they must pay close attention to the surrounding traffic, they may not always notice if a minor collision occurs. In this situation, you should try to stop them during one of the next stops.
Otherwise, it is essential that our staff have the TPG vehicle number, the route number of the TPG vehicle, its direction of travel, the exact location, and the time of the accident.
