Maintenance works in Bernex | Temporary detour of tpg buses from March 22
Geneva public transport, in collaboration with the Cantonal Office of Transport and the Cantonal Office of Civil Engineering, is currently carrying out works to extend tramway Line 14 to Bernex-Vailly. These developments are intended to improve access to the Route de Chancy sector in order to encourage soft mobility and allow access to the multimodal hub at the Confignon crossroads. Eventually, four new stops will be created: Bernex-Pré-Marais, Bernex-Luchepelet, Bernex-Hainard, and Bernex-Vailly.
Lines affected
Bus Lines 63 J K, direction Geneva, will be redirected from Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. within the village of Bernex, between the route de Laconnex and the route d'Aire-la-Ville. Stops on these lines will remain unchanged; the center of Bernex will not be served. During weekends and school vacations, the lines will provide their usual service.
Length of work
This arrangement will remain in effect from March 22, 2021 until the tramway opens for service on July 4, 2021.
